When a client finds me... they don't get "Perry's Medical Transcription Services" they get access to my skill stack. They receive my FULL ATTENTION (across multiple industries) and that means they enjoy the fruits of my time-saving system for converting their media into polished text files. Then I donate my skill stack to my client's arsenal of tools. Whenever there is a glitch in the system somewhere... I am there to troubleshoot or rework. I will ALWAYS pick up the phone and help YOU iron out the last wrinkle.

I have been an artist, creator and writer since my first self-created board game design at 10 years old. I always dreamed of being self employed... taking raw ideas and transforming "simple thought" into artwork that MAKES PEOPLE TAKE ACTION.  I kept honing my skills in liberal arts school studying Studio Art. Nearly two decades into my creative journey...

that began with inventing novel card games and using my parent's teal 2001 iMac to produce adventure films with my neighborhood pals...

 

... I eventually learned the BEST way to speak of my resume. I did not have a "resume."

I had a SKILL STACK.

 

According to Scott Adams of Dilbert comic strip fame... the best way to describe any collection of various interlacing media hobbies was as a SET OF SKILLS or a skill stack.

 

In 2018-2019 I had the urge to add something extra that would allow me to produce value for my future clients from a home office.  I combined my existing Latin language knowledge and love of mastering new media skills... and took a Medical Transcription course. 

Soon after, the COVID phenomenon exploded. I was deep into my "stay at home dad" phase of my life and I was eager to turn my home office into a value-making workshop. Suddenly I was given my first few accounts and transcription work started to flow. I never went back.
